Next Up: TBD

Remember the artist we had in our Sister Galleries between January 24th through March 15th this year? Well, she's coming back to teach a class!

Sally Sutton, a renowned impressionistic painter from Pittsboro, invites you to join Sally's Painting Party at the Captain White House on Thursday, May 26th from 6 - 8:30 pm. Sutton has a Master of Fine Arts and has had many years of teaching experience-with all ages and levels of experience.  All materials will be provided to students who sign up. Alamance Arts will even provide wine! Sally will teach color mixing and how to paint in her magnificent impressionistic style, providing you with a canvas ready for painting (see picture of this class's painting, below). Each canvas will be pre-sketched in pencil for an easy start.

The class is only $55 per person. All payments must be made in advance.  Please call 336-226-4495 to sign-up!

Join us every 3rd Wednesday of the month with wine expert and educator John Stubblefield to explore the many different flavors wine has to offer. Each month participants explore the various depths, flavors, and characteristics of a highlighted type of wine. Stubblefield’s partner in wine, Linda Barron, prepares delicious tapas to pair with each unique variety. Both Stubblefield and Barron have traveled various wine countries and have trained through the Society of Wine Educators, The French Wine Society, and Johnson & Wales University.

Pre-registration is required and participants must be 21 years or older. Cost is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Seating is limited, so reserve your space by calling the Arts Council at 336-226-4495.
