Contact our County Commissioners to ask for support of the Arts in Alamance County

Alamance Arts has been the primary partner of the Alamance County Commission since our founding in 1965. Please contact your County Commissioner TODAY and ask them to officially recognize Alamance Arts as the Designated Arts Agency for Alamance County and increase their investment in the arts as an Arts Tourism Destination. This new designation would enable greater collaboration among arts & cultural groups and less competition for funding by bringing tourism money to the county through the arts. Local Arts strengthen communities and economies while improving each citizen’s quality of life, which is a specific focus of the County’s Strategic Plan.

Please click on THIS LINK to view and download a letter that is ready for you to send to all our county commissioners. Feel free to personalize and add how the arts have impacted your life. You can copy and paste the email addresses below and send the letter as an attachment to all 5 commissioners at once. This will take a couple of minutes but the impact it can have is lasting.

Here are our county commissioners email addresses:

John Paisley - john.paisley@alamancecountync.gov; Steve Carter - steve.carter@alamancecountync.gov; Pamela Thompson - pamela.thompson@alamancecountync.gov; Kelly Allen - kelly.allen@alamancecountync.gov; Ed Priola - ed.priola@alamancecountync.gov

Please send your letter of support by March 15.
