The Piedmont Triad International Airport is searching for artists who can submit two-dimensional paintings, photographs, mixed media, small three-dimensional sculptures, and large outdoor sculptures. Sarah Wells Rolland HANDS-ON Workshop
This workshop is for intermediate potters that are comfortable centering and moving 3 lbs. of clay.
Demonstration Description: Sarah Wells Rolland is well known for her work and her teaching method. She is inspiring and shares her techniques for honing skills. Sarah will share her process of making unique work and discuss her aesthetic.
Throwing pots that inspire creativity and challenge ceramic artists and potters to take risks and push the limits of the clay is one of her passions as a teacher.
Techniques she will share: Techniques for using all the clay, altering, darting, shaving, handles that complement the form, pulled and wheel thrown, sculpting and adding clay to pots, spouts and how to make them function well.

Aup Creative Writing - France
AUP’s (The American University of Paris) Summer School lets you sample the best of what Paris and the University have to offer. Earn credits towards your degree while you discover Paris from the inside and have a thought-provoking international and cultural experience.
AUP is pleased to offer three competitive stipends of up to €500 each to outstanding Creative Writing Institute students. Students wishing to be considered for these stipends will need additional application materials and should be in contact with AUP’s Summer School Coordinator for further information, at admissions@aup.edu.

Creative Aging Network-NC (CAN-NC) will host its 3rd Annual Arts Unbound Festival: An Open House and Celebration of Arts & Culture on Saturday, May 3rd from 10am-3pm. Artists and vendors are invited to enter. Rain or shine event with no rain date. In the case of rain, we will move you indoors but we cannot guarantee a space inside.

Dunleath Porchfest Call for Performers
The Dunleath Historic Neighborhood in Greensboro, NC is seeking performers for its annual Dunleath Porchfest, scheduled for Saturday, June 7. Performers of all types are invited to participate – singers and musicians (solo or ensemble), dancers, and storytellers. We welcome a broad mix of musical genres -- bluegrass, classical, country, folk, gospel, jazz, Latin, rock, R&B -- the more genres the better. Last year, more than 60 performing groups from the region were featured, treating our guests to music, singing.

Yadkinville Mural Project - Open Call for Artists
The Yadkinville Public Art Committee in partnership with the Yadkin Arts Council are seeking artists and artist teams to submit proposals for the installation of a permanent outdoor mural in downtown Yadkinville. Funding for this mural is being provided through a grant from the town of Yadkinville and the Yadkinville Tourism Development Authority. This will be the first mural of an ongoing downtown mural project- The deadline listed below is for the first selected mural, but the possibility of additional murals being selected will be considered as more funding is obtained.

2025 Fine Art Festival
Created in 1980, the Moore County Arts Council’s Fine Arts Festival provides incentive for artists to improve their technique and a place to showcase and sell their artwork. The festival has since grown into a major art exhibit featuring artists from all over the country. The art is also judged in seven categories and over $2,800 in cash prizes and ribbons are awarded.

NC Arts Disaster Relief Fund
With the amount of damage caused by hurricane Helene, many artist local to Western NC now have to face the damages done to their studio space, lost countless pieces of work, if not all of it, and no longer have the equipment and materials necessary to create. We need artist to band together and help support those effected by Helene. When you donate enter the word “RELIEF” in the description for your gift.
TAG Youth Art Summer Camp
The art Gallery By Cogndon Yards is hosting Summer Camp sessions for kids between the ages of 4-15. These classes are perfect for your young artists looking to learn more or grown in their hobby!
This camp will help kids to use their creativity to the fullest, focus on skills, and give the opportunity to try new mediums! TAG Youth Art Summer Camp is under the supervision and guidance of experienced instructors!
Sessions are four days a week and each session lasts three hours Snacks and water provided Cost: $125 for TAG members and $140 non-members Scholarships are available
